General Terms
Harley Aesthetics Academy offers professional training in a variety of aesthetic treatments, including botox and other injectable procedures, as well as other beauty treatments. This document outlines the terms and conditions for each method of training delivery at our academy.
In-Person Training
In-person training at Harley Aesthetics Academy is delivered physically at our London-based academy by experienced tutors in small, fixed-size groups. Where appropriate, this training may be supplemented with online training as part of the curriculum.
If an in-person training course has an online component, it is mandatory for students to complete the online training before attending the in-person sessions. Failure to complete the online training prior to the scheduled in-person session will result in the need to reschedule the in-person portion of the course. A £100 administration fee will be charged to reschedule the training.
Accreditation will only be issued once all parts of the course are completed, including both in-person and online components where applicable.
Virtual Training
Virtual training is provided through webinars and live video calls. In some cases, physical or online courses may supplement virtual training. Accreditation will only be granted once all parts of the course are completed.
Administration Fees
At the time of enrolment, an administration fee will be charged to secure your place on the selected course or courses. The standard administration fee is £200 (or more if part of a promotion or sale) per training course you enrol onto.
Administration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
If you amend your enrolment within 14 days of the course start date, an additional administration fee of £75 will be charged for each amendment made to your training course arrangements.
Deposits
A deposit is required to enrol in training courses, with an amount of £200. Please note that deposits are non-refundable.
Course Fees
Course fees must be paid, or finance funding must be in place, in full no later than 2 working days before the first scheduled date of your course. Failure to settle the balance by this time may result in cancellation of your training and removal from the course.
Cancellation
You have the right to cancel your attendance on a course under the following conditions:
Failure to Attend
If you fail to attend your scheduled training or attend only part of the training, your course will be cancelled, and all paid fees will be retained and non-refundable.
Right to Cancel
Harley Aesthetics Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify on-site training courses at any time, with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice where possible. In exceptional cases, less notice may be provided, but all other options will be exhausted before a cancellation notice is issued within 48 hours of a training date.
Harley Aesthetics Academy does not accept liability for any individual student costs incurred due to the cancellation or scheduling changes to training courses.
Refunds
Refunds for in-person training fees (minus administration fees) will only be granted in the following circumstances:
Certificates
Upon successful completion of your training, you will be awarded an accredited certificate. This certificate will be sent in paper format to the address you provided during your enrolment.
Certificates will only be issued once at least £1000 of the total course fees have been paid.
Our courses are accredited by recognised bodies, including ABT and CPD Accreditation Group. Students will earn CPD points for CPD courses – the exact number can be found on the course information page and in the supporting documentation provided after enrolment.
If you require a replacement copy of your accredited certificate, you can request one for an additional cost of £49 for a paper copy or £25 for a digital copy. To request a replacement certificate, please email [email protected].
Models for Practical Assessment
As part of your course, Harley Aesthetics Academy will arrange models for your practical assessment days. However, we cannot always guarantee a model for every student, so it is advisable to arrange a backup model (such as a family member or friend) in advance. The treatment for your backup model will be complimentary.
If you are scheduled for a practical assessment day with models provided by Harley Aesthetics Academy, and you fail to attend or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will lose the right to receive models from the academy and incur a £75 administration fee to rebook your practical assessment date.
Course Kits
Course kits are included with specific courses or available as paid add-ons. Whether a course kit is included or not will be clearly stated on the website and during the checkout process. If the course does not include a kit, students may purchase one via our website.
Name Change
We can only amend the name on your certificate before the course is completed. After the certificate has been issued, any name changes will incur an additional fee.
International Students
Beauty service regulations vary by country. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they meet the necessary requirements to practice in their country of residence. Harley Aesthetics Academy is not responsible for any individual’s compliance with local regulations, insurance, or other legal requirements in their home country.
Insurance
Upon qualification, students are responsible for obtaining their own insurance. Harley Aesthetics Academy can provide referrals to insurance brokers but does not accept liability if students are unable to secure insurance.
Copyright
All training materials, manuals, videos, images, and any other content provided by Harley Aesthetics Academy remain the exclusive property of the academy. Any attempt to copy, reproduce, share, or distribute these materials without express permission will be subject to legal action. Students are prohibited from publishing or sharing any training materials or content through any medium.
Amendments to Terms and Conditions for Online-Only Training
Course fees and/or administration fees are non-refundable once a purchase for an online training course has been made.
Amendments to Terms and Conditions for Virtual Training
Virtual training is delivered at fixed times and durations. Harley Aesthetics Academy is not responsible for any issues caused by the student’s internet connection or reliability. Students should ensure they have the necessary equipment and connection to attend virtual training sessions.
Amendments to Training Package Purchases
Training packages include multiple courses. You will have 12 months from the date of purchase to successfully complete all courses within your training package.
